[QLF35] Persons aged 15 years and over

The variable on Nationality in the Labour Force Survey was changed to Citizenship with effect from Q1 2021 with the adoption of the IESS EU Framework Regulation. The series presented in QLF34 and QLF35 therefore are discontinued. Please see Tables QLF47 and QLF48 which present the data from Q1 2021 in respect of Citizenship. In light of the United Kingdom (UK) leaving the European Union with effect from 1 February 2020, the EU classification has been updated. EU14 excl Irl was formally classified as EU15 exl. IRL & UK. EU15 to EU27 was formally classified as EU15 to EU28 States. EU15 to EU27 includes Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. Please see QLF48 for up to date data
LFS estimates were updated on 22/02/2024 to incorporate updated population estimates for the period 2016 Q3 to 2023 Q3, based on the results of Census 2022. LFS results are updated in this way following each Census of Population.
