Self-Reported Long-term Limitation in Activity Status of persons aged 16 and over is via the Global Activity Limitation Indicator (GALI). Limited in usual activities for at least six months prior to their interview date.
The income reference period for SILC year T is the T-1 calendar year, i.e. for SILC 2024 the income reference period is the 2023 calendar year.
The Government introduced Cost of Living measures in response to the cost of living crisis. The statistics in this table reflect the estimated poverty rates in SILC 2024 and poverty rates excluding the cost of living measures that were implemented in calendar year 2023. See background notes for details.
