The financial account transactions can be found in table 36-10-0472-01 (formerly: CANSIM 376-0104). From the first quarter of 2018 onward, other changes to position includes revaluation of assets and liabilities caused by volume changes (write-offs, reclassifications, or residency changes) and other changes to position resulting from discrepancies between flow and stock data sources and the integration of new survey results. Prior to the first quarter of 2018, other changes to position also includes revaluation of assets and liabilities caused by fluctuations in prices. Other changes to positions for direct investment assets and liabilities in equity and debt instruments also include the revaluations caused by fluctuations in exchange rates and the revaluations caused by fluctuations in market prices.
